1. About PricePing

PricePing is a price tracking service that monitors product prices across Australian and international e-commerce websites. We automatically check prices on your behalf and notify you when prices drop or reach your target.

2. Your Account

You sign in using your Google account. By connecting your Google account, you authorise us to access your name and email address for the purpose of creating and managing your PricePing account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PricePing only to:

• Track publicly available product prices for personal, non-commercial use.
• Receive price notifications for products you are genuinely interested in purchasing.

You must not:

• Use the service to scrape or harvest data at scale for commercial purposes.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or circumvent the security of any e-commerce site we check prices on.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the PricePing service.

4. Price Accuracy

Prices are retrieved automatically via web scraping. While we do our best to detect accurate prices, we cannot guarantee that displayed prices are current, correct, or reflect the final checkout price at the retailer. Always verify the price directly on the retailer's website before making a purchase.

5. Service Availability

PricePing is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any missed price alerts or opportunities resulting from service downtime.

6. Third-Party Websites

PricePing accesses third-party retailer websites to retrieve pricing information. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any retailer listed in the service. Product availability, pricing, and terms are determined entirely by the respective retailers.

7. Termination

You may stop using PricePing at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. Upon termination, your tracked products and associated data will be deleted.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PricePing is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We disclaim all liability for losses or damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on pricing information displayed.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PricePing after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
